YATO Thread Repair Set M5-M12 131pcs YT-1763

YT-1763 is a specialized professional set for thread restoration from TM YATO. This large and practical set consists of 131 pieces that can be used to effectively repair partially or completely stripped internal threads. All drills and taps in the kit are made of high-strength, high-speed steel HSS4341. With these single-stage taps, female threads can be cut and calibrated, into which the robust stainless steel helical insert is inserted. The insert is inserted using a special guiding handle and a punch, which removes the protruding end of the insert; the taps from the set are designed to cut full threads. Special dies are used to create external threads: this process can be either manual or using a special machine. The collar from the kit is used to screw in the repair liner, and a special drift is used after removing the collar in order to remove the bent lead of the liner, which previously helped to screw it in. YT-1763 set is used for 5 types of threads: - M5 x 0.8 x 6.7mm - 25pcs; - M6 x 1.0 x 10.8mm - 25pcs; - M8 x 1.25 x 10.8mm - 25pcs; - M10 x 1.5 x 13.5mm - 25pcs; - M12 x 1.75 x 16.3mm - 25pcs.
