Product Description
SAMPLER FUNCTIONS AC voltage detection range by contact method: 70-250V AC voltage detection range with the induction method: 70 - 600V checking the battery condition by contact method: from 1.5 to 9V cable continuity test by contact method: 0 - 50 M ? TECHNICAL DATA overall length: 140 mm tip width: 3.5 mm power supply: 2x1.5V; LR41 CONTACT METHOD Apply the tip to the live circuit. The lighting of the LED indicates the flow of electric current through this element. In this method, it is not recommended to touch the contact at the top of the handle. Touching the contact does not pose a risk of electric shock, but increases the probe's sensitivity and may distort the indication. INDUCTION METHOD The method enables the detection of AC voltage in an insulated conductor. To do this, grab the tester by the insulated part of the tip and bring the contact on the top of the handle closer to the insulated wire. The lighting of the LED diode means that the tested cable is live. You can increase the sensitivity of the method by grasping the tester by the non-insulated part of the tip. This method also allows for "non-contact" detection of a break in a live electric wire. At the point of interruption, the tester will stop signaling the presence of voltage. CHECK BATTERY CONDITION The tester allows you to check the condition of batteries or accumulators intended for powering various electrical devices in the range from 1.5V to 9V. Place the tester tip on the battery terminal marked "+", touch the pin on the top of the handle, then touch the battery terminal marked "-". The lighting of the diode means that the battery or accumulator is charged. Do not use this method to test higher rated voltage batteries or accumulators. Batteries and accumulators connected to an electrical circuit must not be tested. CHECKING THE CABLE CONTINUITY We check the continuity of the cable by applying the tip to one end of the cable, then, holding the contact at the top of the handle, grab the other end of the cable. The lighting of the LED indicates the continuity of the tested cable. It is forbidden to check the continuity of live wires or in the electric circuit with this method.
